Milltown Announces Closings

No school in Milltown Monday and Tuesday.

The Milltown Police announced that Milltown schools will be closed Monday and Tuesday, and the Milltown Senior Center, library and Borough Hall for non-essential personnel will be closed Monday.

Milltown garbage collection has been suspended for Monday and Tuesday.

In addition, the Milltown Fire Department is urging residents to take extra precautions during and after the storm. Milltown Fire Chief Gary Conger reminds residents not to run generators indoors. He also advises residents while the fire department would like to assist in pumping out basements when flooding occurs, they cannot. There are several hazards with using a fire truck to pump out a basement that prevents them from doing so.
