(Poll) Should East Brunswick Hold Fourth of July Fireworks?

It's too late for this year, but let us know if you want East Brunswick to have a fireworks display for next year's Fourth of July celebration.

It was in 2010 that East Brunswick celebrated its 150th  birthday. It was also the last year that the township sponsored a Fourth of July celebration with fireworks.

Due to financial considerations, the township decided not to hold them last year and won’t be holding them again this year. In fact, other than the town’s birthday, East Brunswick hasn’t had its own fireworks display for years.

So tell us, given the difficult economic times, should the township still try and pay for a fireworks display next year, or are you happy going to see one in a neighboring town?
