U.S. News and World Report Includes the regional hospital on its list of "America's Best Hospitals"

Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital has been ranked as one of the nation's top hospitals in the New York metro area for a fifth consecutive year by U.S. News and World Report.

According to a release from the hospital, Robert Wood Johnson was ranked 42nd out of 4,825 hospitals that were examined and rated. 140 hospitals were given high marks, the release said.

"Earning this distinction five years in a row is clear evidence that RWJUH, in partnership with UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and our private physicians in the community, continues to define itself as a national leader in academic medicine,” said Stephen K. Jones, president and CEO of the hospital, in a prepared statement.
