Saturday Festival and Market to Feature Local Art, Produce

Spend Saturday perusing local art and produce during an arts festival and farmer's market at the municipal complex.

Sponsored by the Township of East Brunswick, Department of Recreation, Parks & Community Services and the East Brunswick Arts Commission, the 11th Annual Arts Festival will take place from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, June 8 at the pond at the township municipal complex.

A rain date has been scheduled for June 9, according to a press release from the township.

Judges will award prizes to top artists, and demonstrations in glass blowing, stained glass and scarf marbleizing will be held throughout the day, according to the release.

At the same time, the farmer's market will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the courtyard in front of the municipal building, offering locally grown and sourced products, according to the release.
