School Closed Wednesday, Bicentennial Closed For Unsafe Conditions

More Closings come as a nor'easter makes it way.

The closings continue from Hurricane Sandy.

The East Brunswick School District announced this afternoon that school will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, Nov. 7, due to areas with downed poles, trees and wires. The district expcts school to be open Thursday and Friday of this week however. Those days were originally scheduled days off for the New Jersey Education Association conferences, which were canceled.

The district also said the prediction of a nor’easter bringing wind and rain that could impact already compromised trees make for a dangerous situation.
