Snow, Wind and Rain is Forecast

Snow accumulation increases in latest prediction

The area is bracing for the second big storm of the season, with the National Weather Service calling for several inches snow, wind and rain between now and Friday.

The Weather Channel forecast for tonight calls for clouds and a low temperature of around 34 degrees with some snow arriving after 6 a.m. Tuesday. The snow will give way to mostly rain with some snow and highs near 40 degrees during the day.

Expect winds at around 25 mph and less than an inch of snow during the day. But don't get too comfortable, the forecast calls for between 2 and 4 inches overnight.

On Thursday, expect wind and accumulations of between 1 and 3 inches of snow. 

The area could see more snow on Friday before the sun returns on Saturday with a high in the 50s.
