Tap Your Inner Thespian Through "Spamalot" Auditions

"Spamalot" will be performed November 8-24.

Playhouse 22, East Brunswick’s Community Theater, will be having open auditions for Monty Python’s "Spamalot" at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 11, Monday August 12 and Tuesday August 13, with callbacks on Thursday, August 15.

The show dates are November 8 – 24, 2013. All shows are Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m.

Auditions will be held at the East Brunswick Community Arts Center, 721 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, NJ 08816.

The show will be directed by Mark Kalet with Musical Direction by Rory Chalcraft and Choreography by Jaime Moritz.

Monty Python’s Spamalot is a musical comedy “lovingly ripped off from” the 1975 film Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

Looking for a multi-ethnic cast of 20-25; some roles may be cast without regard to gender; doubled roles may be split.

Please prepare 32 bars of a Broadway-style song (songs from the show are acceptable). You must bring sheet music for piano. No acapella.

Please dress comfortably as all auditioners will be expected to participate in the dance audition.
