Township Closings Include Schools, Municipal Court, Library

Here's a list of township closings and cancellations. Leave your own cancellations in the comments section. Check back as this article gets updated. Recently, the Library announced that it is closed Monday and Tuesday.

Here is a list of things that have been canceled so far in East Brunswick. This list will be updated, so make sure you check back for changes.

  • Monday's Township Council Meeting has been canceled.
  • The Brunswick Square Mall will be closed Monday.
  • The East Brunswick Public Library will be closed Monday and Tuesday.
  • State Offices are closed monday.
  • The East Brunswick School District will be closed Monday and Tuesday.
  • Monday and Tuesday trash and recycling pickups are cancelled. Monday and Tuesday trash will be collected on Wednesday. Recycling for Monday and Tuesday will be collected on Saturday.
  • The Township Recycling Center will be closed Monday and Tuesday. It will beopen on Saturday,  Nov. 3, and Sunday Nov. 4.
  • Freecycling, scheuled for today, Sunday, Nov. 28, has been canceled.
  • East Brunswick Municipal Court is closed on Monday and Tuesday due to storm. All cases are being rescheduled.Both transportation centers will be closed effective midnight tonight. There will be NO Suburban bus service until further advised.
  • NJ Department of Motor Vehicles
  • NJ Transit
  • NYC Subways, Buses and Commuter Rail
  • PATH Trains
  • Rutgers: No daytime and evening classes on the New Brunswick and Piscataway campuses. University offices and departments remain open.
  • Amtrak Northeast Corridor Trains
  • Casinos
