Weather Update: Snow to Stick Around Through Friday
Weather forecasts predict a wintery mix of snow and rain through Friday.
Thursday's winter storm is slated to bring minimal snow to the area, but area residents should stay alert for dangers posed by high winds and rising tides.
According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), snow will continue to fall in the hours leading up to 8 a.m. Thursday, turning into rain after 10 a.m.
Gusts of wind could be as high as 31 MPH, with a predicted high of 42 degrees Fahrenheit.

Much of New Jersey, including Middlesex County, is under a coastal flooding warning until 9 a.m. Friday.
Temperatures will drop down into the 30's on Thursday night, as snow moves back in, bringing another 1-3 inches to the area, according to NOAA.
