Women Aware Seeks Toy Donations for Holiday Shop

Middlesex County nonprofit agency that assists women and child victims of domestic abuse, is seeking donations of new toys and wrapping paper for its Holiday Gift Shop.

Women Aware, a nonprofit agency that assists women and child victims of domestic abuse, is seeking donations of new toys and wrapping paper for its Holiday Gift Shop.

The gift shop will benefit the clients of Women Aware, many of which are in transition from abusive situations. They will be able to come and "shop" for gifts and have them wrapped by the agency.

The agency needs new, unwrapped toys for children of all ages, and new wrapping paper, tissue paper and bows.

New hats and gloves, blankets, coats and gift cards to supermarkets and large retail stores, such as Target, are also sought.

Donations may be dropped off at the Women Aware administrative offices, located at 250 Livingston Ave. in New Brunswick.

Additionally, Women Aware hosts an "Adopt a Family" program, where the organization will provide donors with the wish list of a family.
