Our Special Guest Speaker:

                                         Susan Kaufmann
Sue Kaufmann will share the story of “Hijackers, Murder and Silk: History on the Highway.” Straight from the headlines of 1921, it’s a true account of a sensational crime that took place in rural Sussex County, and the police investigation and trials that brought the criminals to justice.  Sue tells this story and hundreds of others on Hidden NJ dot com, a website dedicated to people, places and events around the state that usually go unrecognized. Over the past three years, she and her partner Ivan Kossak have explored all 21 counties…. and they share their adventures with readers, whether they find interesting historical points, fascinating people or notable wildlife.  A lifelong resident of the state and a Rutgers University graduate, Sue is also a business writer, communications consultant and a volunteer for the National Park Service. Please join me in welcoming her tonight!
