Helios Volleyball Club - Academy Registration

Returning after a terrific inaugural year, the Helios Volleyball Club has already begun its 2012/2013 season of programs, with competitive teams selected and beginning their training.  We are still accepting registrations for our Academy program beginning in January.  Act now while there are still openings!  After December 15, late charges may apply.

Our Academy volleyball program provides weekly instructional sessions by professional trainers, on Sunday evenings at Churchill Junior High School.  Our Academy primarily serves those players who do not yet have the experience, or the ability to commit the time, necessary for our competitive level teams.  We accept both girls, and for the first time this year, boys, with birthdates between 09/01/1995 and 08/31/2005.

Sessions begin 01/06/13, and continue through 04/21/13.  Skill development, not competition, will be the focus of all training sessions.   There are no teams, or league play, though we intend to have an informal tournament within the Academy during the month of April.  Players will be grouped with players of similar ability, not necessarily just by age.  Our paid trainers are often the same Club trainers coaching our competitive level teams, to ensure that our Academy players are also getting the best possible instruction.

Club fees for the 2013 Academy program are $150.  Register online at our website; there is no in-person registration.
