NJ Council for the Humanities Awards Celebration

For the past seventeen years, the New Jersey Council for the Humanities has recognized the best New Jersey K-12 public school teachers for their outstanding achievements in humanities education.  This year, the Teacher of the Year Award is being presented to East Brunswick High School Teacher Adam Recktenwald.  

He will be honored at the Council's annual Awards Celebration on October 30th at the New Jersey Law Center, New Brunswick at 5:30 pm.  In addition, the Council's Book Award will be given to Holly Metz for Killing the Poormaster and the Public Humanities Award to Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation President and CEO Chris Daggett, who will also present the keynote address.  A reception and book signing will round out the evening.
