South River High School (SRHS) Robotics Team
will be competing in their 2nd annual FIRST® Robotics FRC
Competition on Saturday, March 15 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and Sunday, March
16, 2014 from 9:30 am to 11:30 am at Clifton High School, which is located at
333 Colfax Avenue in Clifton, NJ. The competition inspires students to explore
career opportunities in engineering, mathematics, technology, science, and
computer programming by building this incredible robot.
This is a very exciting event for everyone. We
invite and encourage everyone in the South River and surrounding communities to
come and cheer us on. The students, with the help of adult mentors, built the robot in six (6) weeks from a kit of mechanical and
electrical parts provided by FIRST®. This years’ event is
Aerial Assist. SRHS will also compete at Bridgewater High School, which is
located at 600 Garretson Road, Bridgewater, NJ on Saturday, March 29 from 10:00
am to 6:00 pm and Sunday, March 30 from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. Hope to see you there!
