Our Lady of Lourds Church in Milltown will host a Christmas Concert to benefit the sixth grade's Locker Project on Dec. 11.
The sixth grade students at Our Lady of Lourdes School, 44 Cleveland Avenue, Milltown, have their minds (and hearts) set on replacing the classroom coat closets and cubbies with lockers. They understand the cost of such an undertaking and have proposed a number of fundraisers to principal, Sr. Elizabeth Halaj. Inspired by the students’ enthusiasm and determination, Sr. Elizabeth has arranged a benefit concert for the cause.
American Tenor Dominic Mantuano will perform a Christmas Concert along with Our Lady of Lourdes School students on Sunday, Dec. 11, 2011, at 7 p.m. in the school auditorium. Tickets are $20 per adult or $30 per couple, and $5 per student. Children under 5 are free.
