Share your best tips and tricks for living the green life here in East Brunswick.

We're looking for all the great ways East Brunswick natives are working to preserve and protect the earth. 

From composting to creative recycling, we want to hear what you do to minimize your carbon footprint, reduce waste, and just live a greener lifestyle.

  • Friends of the East Brunswick Environmental Commission does a number of things in town to preserve and educate about mother nature, including offering community garden plots, moth nights, an April farmer's market, and rain barrel workshops. Perhaps you recently saw commission president Dave Moskowitz's recent blog series on the commission's efforts to protect the spotted salamander migration? 
  • The Helmetta Animal Shelter takes gently used towels and linens to serve as bedding for their furry tenants. Click here for more information.
  • The East Brunswick Youth Council has adopted a corner of Dunhams Corner Road, where they conduct regular cleanups. Click here for more information about the council's environmental activities.
