Ban Tan Bill Ready for Vote

Your email can save lives!

New Jersey Assembly Bill No. A3640, which would ban minors under 18 years old from using tanning salons, is ready for a vote. As per my prior blog, ), the World Health Organization has now classified Tanning Beds as a Group 1 Carcinogen – definitely causes cancer.  As melanoma is the most common cancer in young adults, exposing teens in tanning salons is dangerous and must stop.

Take a moment to contact NJ Assembly Speaker Sheila Y. Oliver at 973 395-1166, Extension 10 and leave a message.  Urge the Speaker to put this vital Bill up for a vote.  It has already cleared the Senate and if passed by the Assembly would go to the Governor for signature.  You can also email her office with the same message.

It is rarely this easy to save lives.
