Happy Earth Day East Brunswick!

Every day is Earth Day for members of the East Brunswick Environmental Commission.

Happy Earth Day East Brunswick!

Earth Day is a day on which events are held worldwide to increase awareness and appreciation of the Earth's natural environment. Earth Day is now coordinated globally by the Earth Day Network, and is celebrated in more than 175 countries every year. In 2009, the United Nations designated April 22 International Mother Earth Day. [Wikipedia].

For the Friends of the East Brunswick Environmental Commission, every day is Earth Day. Join us as we ‘Think Globally’ and ‘Act Locally.’  Our projects include nature events (1), gardening (2), Option Green lecture series, Green living (3), Beautiful EB photo competition, online local guides to butterflies and birds, Farmers’ market, community involvement through volunteering, donation to the senior center and food bank, work with schools, and our newest project—a “Friends Kids,” a “Roots and Shoots” local branch.
