Plots Available at the East Brunswick Community Garden

Grown your own vegetables and be part of the garden community at the East Brunswick Community Garden.

The East Brunswick Community Garden is located near the East Brunswick municipal building.  The garden was selected as an outstanding project by the Association of New Jersey Environmental Commission (ANJEC) and received an Environmental Achievement Award on Oct. 15, 2010. In June 2012 the garden received an award from the Middlesex County Master Gardeners program at Rutgers University.

Gardeners grow everything from different kinds of vegetables to herbs and flowers.  There are about 170 plots on a ¾ of an acre and plots  are available for new gardeners for the 2013 growing season.

Members of the garden community are asked to donate surplus from their plots and in the last three years over a ton of produce were donated to the town’s senior center.  In addition to the challenge to make donations, gardeners also must serve on one of a number of committees such as social, general maintenance and shared garden.
