(VIDEO) County Fair Packs Them In

Opening night at the Middlesex County Fair saw huge crowds.

When the Middlesex County Fair kicked off Monday, thousands of visitors descended on the for food, rides, and a whole lot of fun.

Celebrating it’s 74th year, the Middlesex County Fair Association holds the event each year to showcase the county’s agricultural heritage through live animals and vintage farm equipment while offering a full schedule of rides, food, craft vendors, entertainers, live music, 4-H events, and home arts competitions.

The fair opened Monday and will close on Sunday. As always, organizers have tried to keep everything economical, with admission remaining $6 for adults. Seniors can get in for $4 and children between 3 and 12 can get in $1.

Held at the on Cranbury Road in East Brunswick, the fair will be open Monday, Aug. 6 through Friday, Aug. 10 from 5 p.m. to 11 pm., Saturday, Aug. 11 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday, Aug.12 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
