Obit: Charles Ayers

Ayers was a lifelong resident of East Brunswick

Charles Albert Ayers died Dec. 3 at Franklin Care Center, Franklin Township. He was 75.

Born in New Brunswick, he was a lifelong resident of East Brunswick. Prior to his retirement in 2001, he was a facilities manager for Sears in New Brunswick for 25 years.

He was a Navy veteran of both Korea and Vietnam, having served in the service for 30 years.

Surviving are a son, John of Henderson, NV; three daughters, Susan McKee of Kendall Park, Nicole and her husband Ray Hendrickson of Clinton, and Audrey and her husband Adam Belitz of South Brunswick; a brother, Peter and his wife Carol Ayers of Stewartsville; a sister, Patricia Ayers of Salem, OR; six grandchildren, Brendan, Ryan, Morgan, Sydney, Ksaynia, and Maddox; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday evening at 8:00 PM in the Rezem Funeral Home, 457 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick.  Cremation will be private.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday 6-9 p.m.  Memorial contributions may be made to the East Brunswick Rescue Squad, 346 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, NJ  08816.
