Obit: Ruth Agans

Agans moved to East Brunswick in 1962.

Ruth A. Bohac Agans died Friday, Dec. 6 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick.  She was 93.

Born in Middlesex, she resided in Middlesex and Piscataway before moving to East Brunswick in 1962.

Prior to her retirement, she was a secretary at Union Carbide in Bound Brook for 20 years.

She was a member of the EB Senior Center.

She was predeceased by her husband, Earl Agans, a son, Roger Teatzner, and by a grandson, Arthur Teatzner.

Surviving are a son, Arthur and his wife Lorraine Teatzner of Flemington; a daughter, Ruth Wells of East Brunswick; a daughter in law, Mary Teatzner of Pittstown; seven grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the Rezem Funeral Home, 457 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick. Interment will follow at Lake Nelson Memorial Park, Piscataway.  

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 1 Union Street, Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ  08691.
