Obituary: Bessie Farrell

Bessie Galanis Farrell died Sunday, August 11, 2013 at home.  She was 91.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, she resided in East Brunswick for the past several years.

Prior to her retirement in 1984, she was an administrative assistant for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company in New York City for 17 years.

She was an avid bowler, and was a member of the East Brunswick Senior Center.

She was predeceased by her husband, William Farrell in 1992, and by her ex-husband, Peter Katimeris in 2012.

Surviving are two daughters, Mary Kasapidis of East Brunswick and Joanne Duvall of West Virginia; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 4 p.m. in the Rezem Funeral Home, 457 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick.

Interment will be private.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 2-4 p.m. Wednesday.
