Diane A. Chiappinelli, 69, died Friday, Oct. 12, at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge.
Born in Newark, she resided there for most of her life before moving to East Brunswick 26 years ago.
She was an office worker for Prudential Insurance Company in Newark for over 30 years before retiring in 1999. She then worked in the customer service department at JC Penney, East Brunswick for 10 years before retiring.

She was a member of the East Brunswick Senior Citizens.
Surviving are her two sisters, Laura Jacquin of Brick, and Johanna Madonna of High Point, N.C.; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral services were held Monday in the Rezem Funeral Home, 457 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bartholomew Church, East Brunswick. Interment followed at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, East Orange. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, Kan., 66675.
