John J. “Jack” Wolfe Jr., 84, died Monday, Dec. 10, at Golden Living Care Center, Old Bridge.
Born in Shamokin, Pa., he resided in Pottsville, Elizabeth and Linden before moving to East Brunswick 54 years ago.
Prior to his retirement in 1984, he was a general foreman at General Motors in Linden for 33 years. He was an Army Veteran of World War II, and was a member of the East Brunswick VFW Post 133, the Old Bridge American Legion, the Perth Amboy Elks Lodge, and he was also a graduate of Eckels College of Embalming.
He was a communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle RC Church, Old Bridge.
He was predeceased by two brothers, William and Robert.
Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Jane McCormick Wolfe; three sons, John and his wife Renee Wolfe of Old Bridge, Michael Wolfe of East Brunswick, and William and his wife Theresa Wolfe of East Brunswick; two daughters, Jane and her husband Richard Fisher of Howell, and Ann O’Neill of Ocean Pines, Md.; and eight grandchildren, James, Robert, Michael, William, Christopher, Matthew, Thomas and Abby.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 9:15 a.m. in the Rezem Funeral Home, 457 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, followed by a 10:15 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Old Bridge.
