Obituary: Saul Zeskand

North Brunswick and East Brunswick resident owned a Brooklyn-based business for many years.

Saul Zeskand died Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was 70.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, he resided in East Brunswick for many years until moving to North Brunswick.

He was the owner of Metro Glazing Corporation in Brooklyn, NY for many years, and then worked as a Customer Service Manager for Silver Line in North Brunswick for several years.

He was a communicant of St. Augustine of Canterbury Roman Catholic Church in Kendall Park.

He was predeceased by a son, Carl in 1988.

Surviving are his wife, Geraldine Granese Zeskand; a son, Joseph and his wife Vanessa of Meriden, CT; and two grandchildren, Reilly and Dylan.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 9 a.m. in the Rezem Funeral Home, 457 Cranbury Road, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Augustine Church, Kendall Park.

Interment will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.

Memorial contributions may be made to either the American Cancer Society, 2600 Route 1, North Brunswick, NJ 08901 or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, PO Box 4072, Pittsfield, MA 01202.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday.
