The Brummy Brothers Rock East Brunswick

What a treat!

Last Saturday, a young local bluegrass band kicked it up in the open air at the East Brunswick Cultural Arts Center.

Audience members, young and old, listened and tapped their toes to songs from The Brummy Brothers' newly released CD "On Our Way" and to an innovative rendition of The Beatles' "Daytripper."

The Brummy Brothers are headed up by East Brunswick native Dave Brumberg who played upright bass in the band.

Dave's brother Eric was on the mandolin, Russell Gottlieb played the banjo, and Andrew Morris played the guitar.

All four band members sang together in tight harmonies throughout the concert.

Band leader Dave Brumberg is also the Rock Band Director and a private music instructor at "The Academy of Music and Dance" in Spotswood.
