East Brunswick Police, State Police K-9 Respond To Suspicious Package At Mall
The package, which was deemed safe, was observed inside Brunswick Square Mall in the Macy's wing. The area surrounding the package was cordoned off.
Police responded to what was described at a "suspicious package" at Brunswick Square Mall, police said.
At approximately 2:10 PM East Brunswick Police units responded to the East Brunswick Square Mall, 755 Hy 18, on the report of a suspicious package.
The package was observed inside the mall in the Macy’s wing. The area surrounding the package was cordoned off.
The package could not be identified and as a precaution the New Jersey State Police K-9 Unit responded. The package was deemed safe by the K-9 Unit and was later determined to be an unattended item left by a customer.
