East Brunswick Water Main Still Under Repair Friday

The "Boil Water Advisory" was to remain in effect before the line was fixed.

Crews are continuing to repair the 30 water main in that broke in East Brunswick Tuesday, causing flooding and traffic detours.

East Brunswick officials estimate the repairs would be completed midnight Saturday

Until then, the "Boil Water Advisory" was to remain in effect.

4th of July Celebration with Fireworks at the Cultural Arts Center was to begin as scheduled at 5 p.m. 

Crystal Spring is open and operating normal with its new slide towers. 

The primary water supply to East Brunswick has been compromised because of a big break in a water main.

The break occurred at 2 p.m. Thursday on Ryders Lane in North Brunswick and has impacted the township's water supply.

Ryders Lane was closed Thursday from Tices Lane to Route 1in both directions.

Police are asking residents to conserve water and advises against outside watering and other unnecessary usage.
