East Brunswick Woman Indicted On Theft Charges In Middletown

A 54-year-old East Brunswick woman was indicted this past week on theft charges in Middletown, according to Monmouth County Courthouse records.

Joan Friedland was charged with taking property worth more than $500 from the Middletown Stop & Shop, according to court records.

The crime allegedly occurred between Jan. 1 and Dec. 28, 2013, according to court records.

Friedand, of Taylor Avenue, was indicted on March 12. No bail information was immediately available.

So sometime in 2013, some woman took something from Middletown Shop & Shop. Great reporting. Patch used to be a decent community paper before AOL laid off so much of the staff in the past couple of years.
