A 54-year-old East Brunswick woman was indicted this past week on theft charges in Middletown, according to Monmouth County Courthouse records.
Joan Friedland was charged with taking property worth more than $500 from the Middletown Stop & Shop, according to court records.
The crime allegedly occurred between Jan. 1 and Dec. 28, 2013, according to court records.
Friedand, of Taylor Avenue, was indicted on March 12. No bail information was immediately available.
