Elderly Man Found Dead in Farrington Lake

Man in his 80s had gone missing early Wednesday morning while boating in the lake.

An elderly man who went missing while boating on Farrington Lake was found dead after a lengthy search on Wednesday.

The New Jersey State Police announced via Twitter that the body was found shortly after 4 p.m. under a bridge in a part of the lake located in North Brunswick near the East Brunswick border. Both North Brunswick and East Brunswick Police were involved in the search for the victim, after an overturned boat was reported at about 6:30 a.m.

The man, who is in his 80s, was not wearing a life preserver and was operating a "very small plastic boat," according to nj.com.

The victim was identified as Simon Koslov, 89, of South River, according to the report.
