Missing Swimmer Identified
The body of Isai Alexander Mejia-Castro of Somerset was found in Dallenbach Lake, Sunday, July 3.
The East Brunswick Police Department has released the name of a 21-year-old man who drowned in Dallenbach Lake this weekend.
by two cousins after they saw the victim go under the water and not come up. Located behind Crystal Springs, lifeguards from the aquatic center were called to search but did not find them.
The East Brunswick Police Department and Brookview Fire District No. 3 Marine Unit responded to the lake, behind Crystal Springs on Dunhams Corner Road, at 6:20 p.m. Saturday, July 2. The East Brunswick Rescue Squad also was there on Saturday.

The rescue crews were followed by the Somerset Fire and Rescue and the N.J. State Police Teams Unit and Aviation Unit.
Mejia-Castro was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics from Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. His body was removed by the Middlesex County Medical

Examiner’s Office in order to conduct an autopsy. The incident is under investigation by Detective John Breen of the East Brunswick Police Department’s Investigative Bureau.
