Middlesex County Man Dead; Have You Seen Hit-And-Run Driver?

The New Brunswick Police Department is investigating a hit-and-run accident that left a 67-year-old city man dead.

According to police:

The accieent occurred between the late evening hours of Monday, February 17th and the early morning hours of Tuesday, February 18th (between 11:00 pm on 2/17/2014 and 4:38 am on 2/18/2014).

The accident occurred at the corner of Neilson Street and Bayard Street.  The victim, Tsz Chan, (67 year old male from New Brunswick) died from injuries sustained when it is believed he was struck by a vehicle in that area. At the time Mr. Chan was wearing a gray fleece vest, plaid shirt, blue jeans, and white sneakers. 

Anyone who may have seen Mr. Chan prior to the accident or has information regarding the accident is asked to call the New Brunswick Police Department’s Traffic Safety Unit at (732) 745-5005 or (732) 745-5200.  Officers Patrick Buckelew and Edward Bobadilla are investigating this case.
