Burglaries have occurred to residences on Overhill Road, Eggers Street and Vanderwater Court. All three burglaries occurred during the day when the residents were not at home. The burglars entered the residences by breaking in through a rear door and then ransacked the homes, police said.

It is not known yet what was taken in the burglaries and right now there is no known connection between the incidents.

The two commercial burglaries occurred at gas stations on the southern part of the township. The Sunoco Gas Station on Route 18 and Rues Lane had its front glass door smashed and the burglars stole several cartons of cigarettes. The Shell Gas Station on Route 18 and Hillsdale Road also had it’s front door broken into. It appeared that cigarettes were also taken in the burglary.
