Police Seek Suspect in Armed Robbery

A man wearing a winter jacked robbed the Bellissimo Pizzeria on July 30.

Police are looking for a man wanted in connection with the July 30 armed robbery of Bellissimo Pizzeria on Route 18 in the Windsor Mall.

According to police, an employee reported at the time that a male in a yellow winter jacket entered the pizzeria, pointed a handgun at the employee and demanded money.

The employee removed some money from the register and gave it to the suspect. When the suspect demanded more money, he was given what was left in the register and ran away, police said.

The employee then went into the back room to contact police.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective John Breen of the East Brunswick Police Department’s Investigative Division at 732-390-6990.
