Summerhill Road Open Following Accident

An accident at Summerhill and Old Stage closed the road to Rues Lane.

A motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Summerhill Road and Old Stage Road caused Summerhill Road to be shut down from the accident scene to Rues Lane today, Wednesday, May 9.

The two-car accident involved a tractor trailer and a SUV. One person was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The road was closed for about an hour.
