Suspect Wanted for Attempted Murder In Middlesex County

The New Brunswick Police Department is actively looking for Timothy Ross in connection with a shooting that occurred on June 14, 2014 outside 29 Remsen Avenue.

The New Brunswick Police Department is actively looking for Timothy Ross in connection with a shooting that occurred on June 14, 2014 outside 29 Remsen Avenue.

During the early morning hours of June 14, 2014 a twenty-six year old female from Hillsborough was shot multiple times while walking on Remsen Avenue between Welton Street and George Street.

The initial investigation suggested the female victim and her attacker were familiar with each other prior to the shooting.

Timothy Ross is charged with Attempted Murder, Robbery, Possession of a Weapon for Unlawful Purpose, Unlawful Possession of a Handgun, and Certain Persons Not to Possess a Firearm. His arrest warrant currently is set with a No Bail status. 

Anyone with information on Timothy Ross’ whereabouts is asked to contact Detective Drew Weiss at (732) 745-5217 or the New Brunswick Police Department Communications Center at (732) 745-5200. Timothy Ross is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached if seen or located. Please call the police department with the information instead.
