Mayor Stahl to Host Third Annual Dining for a Cause, Saturday

Community charity event will feature a performance of "Barefoot in the Park"

On Saturday, Sept. 3, Mayor David Stahl will host the Third Annual Dining for a Cause at the East Brunswick Community Arts Center and Playhouse 22. This dining and theater event will benefit several community organizations and charitable causes including East Brunswick’s food bank; MCFOODS, the County’s food bank; summer camp scholarships for at-risk kids; Aldersgate Crisis Room; and the veterans at Menlo Park Home.

According to the township website, the event is a casual evening of food and entertainment and a chance for the community to gather for an important cause. Immediately following dinner, the E.B. Community Players will perform “Barefoot in the Park,” a romantic comedy by Neil Simon.

Donations are $50 per person and tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Seating is limited and the deadline for reservation is Sept. 2. For more information or to reserve your seat, call the Mayor’s Office at 732-390-6810.
