Primary Ballots Set

Three Republicans and three Democrats filed to run for township council and mayor.

Four people will be vying for two seats on the Township Council and two are seeking to serve as mayor.

The deadline to file to run in the June primary election was Friday, and on the Democrat side, incumbents Nancy Pinkin and Denise Contrino will see four-year terms, and Mayor David Stahl will seek to serve a second term.

On the Republican side, Eugene DeMarco will challenge Mayor Stahl, and Jim Johnson and Synnove Bakke will seek seats on the council.
