UPDATED: Senate, Assembly Matchups Set for November Election

Barbara Buono's Senate seat is up for grabs between Assemblyman Peter Barnes and East Brunswick Mayor David Stahl.

New Jersey’s first primary elections for 2013 are in the books, as November’s general election is now set.

As Barbara Buono won the Democratic nomination for governor in the Nov. 5 elections, the race to fill her Senate seat was also decided, as Democratic Assemblyman Peter Barnes will face Republican and East Brunswick Mayor David Stahl.

Barnes’ now vacant Assembly seat will be one of two up for grabs when Democratic incumbent Patrick Diegnan and challenger and East Brunswick Councilwoman Nancy Pinkin face Republican challengers Robert Bengivenga and Lisa Goldhamer.
