Winning Lottery Ticket Sold In Middlesex County

The Mega Millions game had two $5,000 third prize winners for the Tuesday, February drawing - one from Middlesex County.

One ticket was sold in Middlesex County at Strawberry’s Pub, 110 Amboy Ave., Woodbridge and the other in Ocean County at Spirits Unlimited, 3 Lacey Rd., Forked River.

In addition to the Garden State’s $5,000 winners, 30 players each purchased $500 winning tickets; one of those players added the Megaplier option making that ticket worth $2,500. Moreover, 120,584 other New Jersey players took home $226,315 in prizes ranging from $1 to $250, according to Hedinger.

“Congratulations to the lottery winners and to the retailers that sold all of those winning tickets,” said Carole Hedinger, New Jersey Lottery executive director. “For selling the winning tickets, the retailers have become many more Lottery ‘lucky locations’ overnight.” The winning numbers for the Tuesday, February 18 drawing were: 23, 29, 31, 37 and 70. The Gold Mega Ball was 14, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 05.

The Mega Millions jackpot rolls to $172,000,000 for the next drawing, which will be held Friday, February 21 at 11:00 pm. Watch live drawings on the New Jersey Lottery’s website (NJLottery.net), on our official Facebook page, or on CBS stations: WLNY 10/55 and CW Philly 57.
