Tony is excellent with exaust and any mechanical related work (in my case wheel alignments and replacing a broken exaust manifold stud[which attaches the exaust to the manifold] on an early 80's GM B-body station wagon) at Very reasonable prices and is an honest guy. I only had one somewhat negative experience(which would not stop me from going to Tony) approx 20yrs ago I had a headliner replaced on an early 80's b-body sedan and it came back down in approx 5-7yrs. Granted that is over any warrantee period the issue is one of my father's friends who has show cars(i.e. a good autobody man) told me Rayco's headliner would fall down prematurely(a day after installation) since it was too tight along the width, on the sides of the roof. Anyone could tell by looking at it that it was not touching along approx 80% of the curvature between the flat top part of the roof and where the headliner terminates above the doors. It was one of those brutal hot summer days so I did not hold it against the installer so keep that in mind. I did go back & the installer said it would be fine, which in my opinion it wasn't. Overall I had many more positive experiences at Rayco and highly recommend Tony who is the most honest franchise type shop technician/owner I ever met. Just a word of caution, I would be leary about having upholstery work done in extreme weather conditions. Tony &/or the installer did say my having stapled the original liner up could affect the new installation longevity. But, I have since had the headliner redone at a local upholstery shop who charged more but the headliner is well over 8 years old & still perfect.(I had three B-body GM sedans done @ this local upholstery for a slight discount, 1 is totalled/rearended now and been sitting outside for over 5 yrs for parts, which is hard on the body & interior, headliner still like new) This installer may be long gone/retired so you may be fine but note buyer beware before sale/installation is finalized & billed. I still will continue going to Tony(I recommend him to my family & friends too), but was brought up honest and am sharing the full experience for this reason here.
