Alfonso's On the Move

Alfonso's is moving a few stores down, opening up space on the end of Summerhill Marketplace.

Businesses at the Summerhill Marketplace are making a few moves, which could mean opportunity for some.

According to Steven Winters, of Fameco Realty LP, Alfonso's Family Trattoria & Wood Oven Pizzeria is relocating to the other side of the center, opening up 3,160 square feet of end cap space.

Alfonso’s will be moving to the space, formerly occupied by a bagel store, a little after the holidays, said winters.

Winters said that with the Stop & Shop as an anchor, and other strong retailers, including the Huntington Learning Center, Orchid Fine Asian Cuisine and Market Place Wines and Spirits, the site is a good one for a new business.

The center is located next to K-Mart and has access fro Route 18, Summerhill Road and Arthur Street. It also has signage on Summerhill, Arthur and Route 18, said Winters.

“It doesn’t have to be a restaurant, but with the existing restaurant infrastructure, it would make sense. Though they already have the Asian restaurant and Alfonso’s,” said Winters.

Winters said Fameco also has a 3,000-square-foot, end cap location next to Pep Boy’s available. The site has easy access to Summerhill Square, home to Toys R Us and more.
