Bears Head to Meet of Champions

The Meet of Champions in Old Bridge will have an East Brunswick feel to it today.

They are among the best of the best, and when they compete in today’s Meet of Champions at Old Bridge, they will have a chance to prove it.

Today at 1 p.m., , , Kelsey McDonald and the mile relay team will head to the Meet of Champions.

Mattis is the top discus thrower in the state and Donald Urschel will compete in the 100-meter dash. Kelsey is a sophomore javelin thrower and the mile relay team is made up of Urschel, Marciante (senior), who with Gabe Wood (junior) and Ty Robbins (freshman) finished first in the 4X400 at the GMCs.  In addition, Alex Malveaux took first in the 55-meter hurdles.
