Car Wash Fundraisers set for September

Is your car dirty? The students at have the answer.

Two school groups, the Field Hockey Booster Club, and the EBHS Performing Arts Parents Association are holding fundraising car washes in the upcoming weeks.

On Sunday, the Field Hockey Booster Club will hold a carwash and clothing drive to raise money for the Lady Bears Field Hockey Team. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the high school, girls will wash that summer grime off your car and you can drop off your unwanted, gently used clothing, handbags, shoes, boots and stuffed animals at the same time. Bring your car, van or truck to East Brunswick High School, 380 Cranbury Road. The cost is $5 for cars and $7 for SUVs and vans.

Later this month, the EBHS Performing Arts Parents Association will hold a car wash/garage sale. Members of the East Brunswick High School Drama club will be ready to shine up your vehicles on Saturday, Sept. 24, at the high school from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. At the same time, pick from some hidden treasures from a garage sale to be held at the same spot.

Vendors are welcome to the PAPA event. Reserve a spot for $25. You need to bring your own table. For more information email ebhspapa@yahoo.com. All proceeds from car wash and garage sale will go toward supporting the Drama Club.
