Author to share stories about fishing around the Garden State

Find out where the big fish are hiding when angler and author Manny Luftglass shares his “fishing tales” from around the state on Thursday, June 7, at 7 p.m. at the East Brunswick Public Library. The author of 15 books about fishing, Mr. Luftglass will talk about fishing in the Spruce Run and Round Valley reservoirs, Lake Hopatcong, and saltwater hot spots and styles.  He’ll also discuss “Free Fishing days” In New Jersey, schedule for June 16 and June 17.

A former Mayor of Somerville, Mr. Luftglass has written more than 3,000 feature articles, columns and reports for such publications as The Somerset Messenger Gazette, The Hunterdon Democrat, North American Fisherman Magazine and Fishing & Hunting News.  Attendees will receive free fishing hooks while supplies last.  Whether you’re a salty professional or just starting out, “fisherpeople” of all ages are welcome.  Audience participation will be encouraged during this free event. This program is sponsored by Friends of the Library.
