Bowne-Munro Students Lift the Spirits of Troops

Bowne-Munro students created cards to be sent to U.S. Troops.

Students at got the holiday season started by sharing the joy with American troops. Students in the school's art classes created cards for the Holiday Mail for Heroes program and sent them out to lift the spirits of those who need it.

"To kick-off the holiday season, Bowne-Munro's art classes created festive cards as part of the Red Cross 'Holiday Mail for Heroes' program. The cards are being forwarded to our troops to serve as small pick-me-ups and tokens of our appreciation for those that aren't able to spend the holidays with their loved ones," said art techer Lisa Gombas.
