Marching Band Festival, a Night of Comedy and a Fall Fashion Show

The East Brunswick School District has a variety of great, fun ways to raise money. Here are a few that are just around the corner.

Here are a few things that may not be on your regular school calendar but probably don’t want to miss Make sure you check out the Night of Comedy, Marching Band festival, and more.

Memorial School Yard Sale

The PTA is sponsoring a on Sunday, Oct. 23, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and needs vendors. Proceeds from the sale will go to the Memorial School PTA. The cost is $20 per space for vendors and you need to bring your own table. Call Terri at 732-651-4194. The yard sale will take place fat 444 Ryders Lane (corner of Innes Road and Ryders Lane, dental office). If you would like to donate any sellable items you may drop them off the morning of the event.

A Night of Comedy

The East Brunswick High School Cheer Booster Club will host with Paul Venier on Saturday, Oct. 29. Join the Booster Club for some good laughs and dinner from 7 to 11 p.m. at , 485 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick. Come test your luck on the giant lottery board. Tickets are limited and sold in advance for $40 per person (18 years and older ONLY).

Dine at Applebee’s

The PTA will hold a Dine to Donate on Wednesday, Oct. 26 at in Milltown. Join the Memorial School community at Applebee's, where a percentage of sales that day will be donated to benefit the Fifth grade Committee. For your donation to count you know to show a flyer. Marching Band Festival

East Brunswick High School Marching Band  Booster Association will sponsor a on Saturday, Oct. 29,  at the .

The 13th Annual Marching Band Festival will take place at East Brunswick High School’s stadium at 2 p.m. In addition to the performance by the EBHS Bears Marching Band, six other marching bands representing a variety of schools in New Jersey will participate. The entrance fee is $10 for adults and $7 for students and senior citizens.  Bring a donation for the Middlesex County Food Bank and $1 will be subtracted from your entrance fee.

Fall Fashion Show

The East Brunswick Education Foundation will hold its at the on Wednesday, Nov. 2.

Come by from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. as teachers and administrators representing all 11 East Brunswick Public Schools “strut their stuff” down the runway in men’s and women’s fashions provided by East Brunswick.

Don’t miss the always spectacular theme basket raffles. Tickets for dinner and the show cost $40 and must be purchased in advance by calling 732-254-3233 (EBEF) or downloading a reservation form from the Foundation’s website at www.ebef.org.

Please reserve your place on or before Oct. 28. All proceeds will go towards grants to enhance and enrich the learning experience for students attending the East Brunswick Public Schools.
