POLL: Condi Rice Bows Out: Should Rutgers Have Done More?

Let us know in the poll and in the comments

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice decision to not speak at the 2014 Rutgers University Commencement sparked a controversy that left many wondering:

Should she have done it anyway?

Or should Rutgers have done more to keep her on board?

Let us know in the poll and in the comments: Who's right Who's wrong?

Rutgers President Robert Barchi once said the university "stands fully behind the invitation to Dr. Rice to be our commencement speaker and receive an honorary degree." Many in the Rutgers community were upset that Rice was slated to speak at the 2014 commencement because of her defense of the Iraq war.

After Rice bowed out, it was announced that former New Jersey Gov. Thomas Kean and Eric LeGrand, a former Rutgers football player who was paralyzed, will speak at Rutgers' commencement ceremony.
