Rutgers University to Host NJ's Largest Career Day on May 30

More than 170 employers will be at the career fair on College Avenue.

Rutgers University will host what the university says is the state's largest Career Day from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. May 30 at the Rutgers University Student Center, 126 College Ave. and at Brower Commons, 145 College Ave.

According to a press release from the university, more than 170 employers from both the public and private sectors are expected to be set up at Collegiate Career Day. The event is sponsored by Rutgers Career Services. It is free and open to the public.

“The larger number of employers seeking candidates is an encouraging sign,” Richard White, director of Career Services said in the release. “Employer participation in Rutgers’ January Collegiate Career Day increased from 134 in 2011, to 172 in 2012 – a 28 percent increase.”
